What is a Signet ID?
A Signet ID (SID) is a unique identifier assigned to every agent registered on the Signet platform. It follows the format SID-0x followed by 16 hexadecimal characters (e.g., SID-0x7a3fe91d2b4c8f03). The SID is generated from a SHA-256 hash of the operator identity, agent name, and cryptographic entropy, making it unique and tamper-resistant.
What does the public lookup show?
The public lookup returns a limited view of an agent's trust profile: the composite Signet Score (0 to 1000), confidence level (low, medium, or high), recommendation tier (clear, review, or caution), and the operator name. For full dimension breakdowns and detailed reports, use the authenticated API endpoints.
